We Can Do This

We Can Do This is a national initiative to increase public confidence in and uptake of being up to date on COVID vaccines while reinforcing basic prevention measures. Through a nationwide network of trusted messengers and consistent, fact-based public health messaging, the Campaign helps the public make informed decisions about their health and COVID, including steps to protect themselves and their communities. The effort is driven by communication science and provides tailored information for at-risk groups.

Through a series of human-centered discussions, the Climate Mesh will bring together experts and thought leaders to identify innovative solutions at the intersection of government missions where climate risk is accumulating.

“Moveable Middle” Audience Segmentation

The "moveable middle" is a public health term for individuals who are unvaccinated but remain persuadable, expressing intent or ambiguity about getting a COVID-19 vaccine.

This demographic largely consists of young adults (aged 18–39), suburban residents, individuals with lower incomes, and the uninsured. These groups generally delayed getting vaccinated due to concerns about vaccine safety, the speed of development, and potential side effects.
